Pastor Emily is known for her warm, relatable style, intelligent preaching and teaching, and her heart for ministering to people in all stages of life. Emily delights in the fact that as a pastor her number one job is to point people to Jesus and remind them that they are unconditionally loved by God.
Emily holds a Doctorate of Ministry from the University of Redlands Graduate School of Theology (SFTS). Her dissertation is titled Equally Made: Exploring How Encounters with the Divine Feminine Change Women's Understanding of What it Means to Be Made in the Image of God.
Emily has lived in many places in the US, including Maryland, Ohio, Seattle, WA, and Los Angeles, CA. She’s lived in Santa Rosa for many years and is proud to call beautiful Sonoma County home. In her free time, you might find Emily spending time with her family, volunteering with a local children’s theater company, baking, or hanging out with her dogs watching Spanish telenovelas. Emily is a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a current practitioner of Muay Thai. Emily enjoys traveling, and has done Spanish language immersion programs in Ecuador, Colombia, and Guatemala.
