Deep Roots, Open Minds
What We Believe

We believe in a God of radical grace whose love and acceptance are completely free gifts—you don’t have to be perfect or check off a list of rules to qualify. We see Jesus as the clearest picture of that grace, showing us an inclusive love that breaks down barriers, stands with those on the margins, and calls us to love our neighbors without conditions. To guide us, we take the Bible seriously without treating it as a rigid rulebook, viewing it instead as a living, breathing text where deep thinking, open conversation, and honest questions are always highly encouraged.

Everyone Belongs, Everyone Matters
Peace, Justice, and Inclusivity

For us, following Jesus shapes how we view the world. We believe we have a responsibility to care where people are hurting and support the ongoing work of justice and peace. Guided by our national church, we stand for the dignity of all people—actively supporting efforts to alleviate poverty, stop violence, protect the planet, and ensure equity for immigrants, the LGBTQIA+ community, and people of color.

Let all that you do be done in love. - 1 Corinthians 16:14
